NBA Draft 2012

After the Miami Heat title it is already time to think and work for the next NBA season.

Yesterday, in New York, the best NBA prospects from a very good year (considering that some players have decided to wait for this year to be drafted in order not to play in a shorter season) have been drafted.

If Anthony Davis was the obvious first pick selected by the New Orleans Hornets, many had not forecast Davis’s team-mate at Kentucky, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist to be chosen  overall second by the Charlotte Bobcats, the team owned by Michael Jordan.

Thomas Robinson, a bit surprisingly as well, was drafted only fifth by the Sacramento Kings while Doc Rivers’ son, Austin, will join Anthony Davis in NO and not play in Toronto (that chose, instead, Terrence Ross).
